Seems to be fixed in Firefox 15.

$ apt-cache policy firefox
firefox:
  Installed: 15.0~b2+build1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 15.0~b2+build1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 15.0~b2+build1-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ quantal/main powerpc Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I'm not sure if it is important to back port it, but it does seem fixed
in the current version.
