If you've only just upgraded, then this is almost certainly a reindex,
as the gloda schema changed between versions. Feel free to open a new
bug report if it doesn't eventually stop (but please read
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs before reporting. In particular
- the part about using Apport). Also, the output of strace isn't of much
use when debugging problems with CPU bound processes
