[Bug 979741] [NEW] Thunderbird: Deleted folder appears again after restart

Public bug reported:

I deleted a folder which appeared again after a restart, tried it again
and again after a restart the folder is there. The folder is empty (I've
imported my mails from an Mbox-file, doing so the imported mails
appeared in this folder, I've moved them to my "normal" Inbox and tried
as described to delete this folder).
