Next time this happens, could you please open the error console (Tools
-> Error Console), and see if there is anything logged in there?

In the meantime, it might be worth disabling the "Provider for Google
Calendar" extension that you have installed in your profile. Whilst this
probably isn't responsible, it's fairly useless on its own (it's
designed to be used with Lightning), and disabling it eliminates one
possible cause. I'll try installing the other addon you're using
(Nostalgy) to see if it happens to me.
