[Bug 855202] [NEW] What if the network goes down after a message is composed?

Public bug reported:

The following scenario is rather annoying on a laptop with a dubious wifi network:
1) compose a message.
2) hit the send button
3) SMTP works
4) network goes away
5) Copy to the "SEND" folder fails (assume it is on a remote machine)
At this point, you're stuck, because you cannot change the name of the server, or change to local files. Also, it's effectively impossible to switch to another wifi network because the "Try again" pop-up keeps popping up.

Odds are goo that you'll have to retype the message.
Worse, if it is sent, you'll probably lose the record that you sent it.
