[Bug 848774] [NEW] Icon does not show right amount of unread email

Not sure if this is a Unity or Thunderbird bug, but when I read email
(and therefore changing them from "unread" to "read" and then look at
the thunderbird application icon (in alt-tab or in the unity launcher),
the number does not seem to decrease correctly.
