[Bug 897820] [NEW] fix release for bug 693396 causes problems

Public bug reported:

firefox 3.6.24 was working adequately before the fix release.
it used to have problem with firefox bin not unloading when shut down and the bin needed to be killed.
after the fix release, firefox is hanging, crashing, as well as the bin file not unloading.
