Hi all,

I just experienced this issue with Ubuntu 11.10 and Firefox 7. Disabling
Ubufox now correctly return en-US. I got the incorrect
chrome://global/locale/intl.properties when using getCharPref inside an
extension.

Ubufox 1.0 according to the addon manager. Hope this helps. Thanks!
