[Bug 789687] [NEW] Save As within Firefox works intermittently

3. I had used Firefox to get some information from the internet.  I clicked on "save as", expecting it to proceed from there.
4. The "save as" window opened, but it was blank white.
It had worked on one occasion a few minutes earlier today.  This document was mostly text with some formatting (a motherboard specification from ASUS).
The next window I selected was a photo of the motherboard.  This is the one that failed  to save.
As this had also happened yesterday, I decided to report the problem.
After triggering Apport & sending that information, the Launchpad login screen came up (as expected).
At this time, the Save As screen changed from blank to showing the previous folder to which I had saved, plus the folder contents (normal).
However, when I tried to change the file name, from the website's name to a more meaningful one, I couldn't delete or enter into that field.  I then clicked on the save button (to allow it to save to the folder & file name shown), but that had no effect.
The small window that gives details of a download then appeared, but it was white & empty.
I was able to close the download window & the Save As window.
Yesterday, I worked around the problem by copying the image from Firefox to LibreOffice Writer, & saving that file; this worked OK, but I would prefer to use the Save As function in Firefox.

I reported a problem (781403) with Save & Save As a few weeks ago, but
it went away.  I assumed that some fix had been made...  Apart from the
initial white screen, it's behaviour was not the same as in this report.
