Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I am afraid to extract it to any existing location because it looks so much different than the previous version. It's location should be part of an automatic update, not something that a user can easily screw up.
Ubuntu 10.10
I don't have the other information you need. If it is really needed I will be glad to provide. It seems like a Fire Fox problem anyway.
