[Bug 818283] [NEW] offers to save file when browsing file:// URLs

Public bug reported:

When following a link from a local HTML file to a file with extension
(!) that Firefox does not recognize it offers to save the file again.

Since the file is already present in the local filesystem this is
complete nonsense.
