Hi, thank you for replying, yes I tested today and didn't notice much of
improvement with new profile, with no extensions.

The thing is that browsing generally is annoyingly faster with Chrome
and/or Windows 7 with Firefox. There seems to be this strange lag with
FF and linux systems.

Yes it could be related to spellchecker also but when I tested without
it the difference wasn't noticible. But for example in this page:
http://www.iltasanomat.fi/
.. the scrolling and commenting can be S-L-O-W. But not all the time,
maybe it's related to some internal services in Ubuntu/linux that makes
browsing crawl sometimes.

In generally, this occasionally lag is quite annoying and affects the
usability and preferring this system.
