Hi Mike,

thanks for the reply.

When I am on the workspace on which the TBird window is opened, then
clicking on the Indicator "Thunderbird Mail /News" brings it to the
foreground (no matter behind how many windows the TBird window is
hidden). This works fine.

I think logic dictates that one must switch the workspace to focus the
opened window. If you click on the indicator "Thunderbird Mail/News"
entry and nothing happens because you are on the wrong workspace this
will -- in my opinion -- confuse many users.

But thanks for filing the new Bug concerning the issue.
