I think it's quite the same with other programs that have with
scrollbars. For instance see how Gimp's Export feature shows the select
format scrollbar.

Not that the user can't figure it out how to use the program in the end,
but the small details do count and it makes the user experience better.


(Offtopic & Extrapolate: How can I convince people that Ubuntu is a great alternative for W. (more users, more feedback, more people to debug, to work, better OS, etc.) when I have to reconnect Wifi from time to time as it stops working, although it shows to be working?)
