[Bug 804918] [NEW] Messaging menu TB extension disappears when TB is closed

Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 11.04 x64 Unity - not sure if this is a big or not, but think so,
since I used an earlier version of the extension before it got
integrated into TB 5.0.  When TB is open, TB is listed in the messaging
menu and works as advertised.  However, when TB is closed, the icon for
TB no longer appears in messaging menu.  When I used the previous
version in TB 3.1.x on the same system, the icon in the messaging menu
remained there, so one could launch TB from the messaging menu itself.
