[Bug 697965] [NEW] Launchpad and Firefox combo problem

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Whenever I load luanchpad.net with firefox the whole system slows to a
crawl and the page is barely functional.

I can load the same page(s) under midori and I do not have this problem.

It's so bad that ubuntu grays out firefox whenever I am on the site, but
when I am on midori on launchpad.net It never happens.

I put this under display, but in fact I wasn't certain where it belongs,
and choosing other gives you a strange error, so please forgive me if
this is in the wrong spot.
