[Bug 714295] [NEW] firefox 3.6.13 will not export bookmarks

RELEASE:  Lucid Lynx
CD/DVD VARIANT:  32bit Xubuntu installed when Xubuntu 10.04 was released

SYMPTOMS:
In attempting to export bookmarks as HTML, after completing the export, the bookmark does not exist in the directory exported to.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1.  Start firefox in Xubuntu 10.04, fully up-to-date
2.  Go to Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Export HTML...
3.  Give the file to be exported a name, if desired.
4.  click on "Save"
5.  Observe the file appears to be saved, but does not exist on your hard drive.
6.  Tools -> Error Console give the following:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIPlacesImportExportService.exportHTMLToFile]"  nsresult: "0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE)"  location: "JS frame :: chrome://browser/content/places/places.js :: PO_exportBookmarks :: line 395"  data: no]

7. There are no visible error messges or indications that the save did
fail.

This is reproducable at any time with firefox in Xubuntu 10.04
