[Bug 908277] Re: which version Firefox

I installed from the Firefox "Help" site.
When I typed "About" Firefox advised that a new version was available. I
downloaded the .tar.gz file, unpacked it but after extraction,the
original Ver 3.... showed up. Only Peppermint upgraded to 9
