Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-globalmenu

In my brand new clean installation of Natty the Firefox menus don't
appear, neither in the application window nor in the top bar.

Bug 637827 describes something that sounds similar. However
1. it isn't clear to me from the report whether the menus didn't appear at all, or whether they simply didn't appear in the right place.
2. a fix was supposedly released a month ago.
