I can say that with a straight face since I've only worked here for a
bit over a year, and have been pushing to get this fixed since I
started. Firefox 4 is the first real major release I'm a part of, and it
didn't make it this time around. I'm personally following this up for
our next release.

Don't assume things without having the facts. Now, please stop spamming
this bug. It'll get fixed.

This isn't something that is understandable to people unfamiliar with the implementation, which is a bad way to build a UI.

Plugins stealing focus is already minimized on Mac OS X, so when we have
a sane way of doing it, we do it. On Windows, things are more
complicated. We'll get there, but not for Firefox 4.
