I confirm this bug in an updated Ubuntu 10.10 beta.

User cannot guess alone that he has to restart Firefox to make Flash
work... Firefox should say it has to restart to take the plugin into
account, and should ask the user if he wants to restart now or later.

OR Firefox devs may find a way to make the plugin work without having to
restart Firefox.
