[Bug 640389] [NEW] Download stops progressing but no indication of failed or timeout

3) What I expected to happen is when I attempt to download either
Maverick Ubuntu or Kubuntu via:

http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/maverick/beta#Download%20Beta

It downloads or fails and displays this.

4) What happened instead is the download GUI stop progressing mid
install, pausing on for example (1.0 MB/sec), but 334 of 672 MB does not
move forward over the course of a few minutes. If I click the pause icon
then play the download resumes where it left off prior to the pause.
