Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
Hi guys,
In 10.10 beta, I've encountered this problem several times. Could be
keyboard management, or a process being read wrong by the system, I
don't know, but in some instances, pressing ctrl-W to close a tab in
Opera's active window will result in closing the app altogether, even
when there are a half a dozen tabs open. Identically, using alt-tab to
navigate from one app to the other won't always succeed. Sometimes, if
you alt-tab too quickly, you're left in limbo: not exactly where you'd
want to be, and not on the app you were leaving anymore. But the main
thing is this closing apps accidentally when pressing ctrl-w. Has
happened in Opera and Firefox alike, both installed through the Ubuntu
Apps Repository, not from websites.
