Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I have just installed Ubuntu 10.10 beta x64. During install, I noticed
two instances of poor geometry being chosen for dialog and notification
boxes, which resulted in having to scroll left in order to read the full
text (no wrapping). These occurred during the disk manual partitioning,
and later, in the installation screen (where install is going on the in
background, and users are given helpful hints). This occurred after
install as well, when I was notified that proprietary drives for my
NVidia GTX 260 were available.

The monitor is an ASUS VW193T at 1440x900.
