[Bug 634400] [NEW] video on dell gx-240 goes black while booting from cd to install

when booting from a cd on a dell gx 240 the monitor works at first but
before it can get to the try or install screen the video goes black. if
that cnt be fixed there are 1,000s of school computers that cant use
this os. please help
