I'll do my best to describe the problem... I don't fully understand the procedure that is causing the error.
My wife connects to a remote Windows XP desktop by visiting a corporate website that issues a Java Webstart Applet: aka a "VMware View Portal". She logs in, Firefox knows to run the Webstart applet using Sun's Java, and the Windows XP desktop shows up and all is fine ... ON Fedora 13 x64. We recently switched to Ubuntu 10.04... I have Sun's Java installed, Mozilla runs the Webstart Applet; but the last stage of connection states "rdesktop error" and no connection is allowed. Her username and password to the view portal are entered, a webstart app loads... and then a small java window stating "rdesktop error". I started Firefox in a terminal window to see is any useful output is given; none.

This worked flawlessly in Fedora 13 x64 and OpenSolaris b134 for 3
months. Installing Ubuntu 10.04 broke something. The exact same error
occurs in both Ubuntu 10.04 32 and 64-bit. Fedora worked flawlessly
with Sun JRE 1.6.0.20; the same version installed in Ubuntu.

I'll try to get more information; but I cannot try to connect while
she's at work - I'd knock her off her account.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
