I am fresh out of ideas beside trying to download the items on another
network but try downloading this one anyway:

wget https://addons.mozilla.org/en-
US/firefox/downloads/latest/9924/addon-9924-latest.xpi?src=addondetail

You are with friends correct?  When you were home did you ever have
problems installing these addons?
