I tried that and still get the same error.

I have also noticed some strange behaviors with Firefox not connecting to
some sites, for example www.debian.org. I get the Unable to Connect error
page but I can load the site using Chrome. Also, a couple of times it could
not find my home page on yahoo (http://my.yahoo.com). I had to clear all
recent history and then it found my home page. This is a separate problem
and if it persists I will submit another bug report.
