Thats what I figured would happen.  It looks like compiz is not working
with your Intel Graphics card.  Using metacity solves the issue.  It is
not an issue with firefox but rather your intel driver.  It is a
hardware problem thus I was not able to reproduce it.  I am going to see
what we can do with this bug, being that it is hard to replicate without
proper hardware.  In the meantime you can use the simple fix of using
metacity.

Go to System>Preferences>Startup applications
Click Add
Name it Metacity
In the command box type:  metacity --replace
Click Add again to add it

Now it should be fine even when restarting.
