[Bug 657141] Re: Java applets do not run

Yahoo!Games Backgammon seems ot work fine, though quite frequently, the
applet is loaded but does not run.  By repeatedly clicking on the 'click
here', I try to reload the applet, and it runs after a few attempts.
Definitely not robust like it was in Hardy Heron (8.04).

Power E*Trade Pro does not work.

etpro_launch.jnlp is downloaded.  Then there is the following message:

/tmp/etpro_launch.jnlp could not be opened, because the associated
helper application does not exist. Change the association in your
preferences.

I do not know how to set up the association in Preferences, becasue I
don't know which executable to use.  Again, this used to work perfectly
in Hardy Heron, without my having to set up anything.
