Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

A most bizarre issue. I am on the latest Meerkat updates. This issue has
appeared for me a few weeks before the new release. I am on AMD64, free
Nouveau nvidia drivers.

For me it is easily repeatable. Login, open web page with flash content
(BBC iPlayer / youtube). Play the content. Left click is now
unresponsive anywhere in the GUI, but other buttons work fine as does
keyboard. Solution for me is to open a terminal and kill GDM.

I isolated this down either to something flash is doing or something
flash is triggering elsewhere as with flashblock installed there is no
issue.

I am happy to help with any extra information etc.

** Affects: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
