** Summary changed:

- LC_MESSAGES changes the interface language
+ The interface language follows $LANG instead of $LANGUAGE

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox

- I noticed that firefox, openoffice and amule change the interface language accordingly to LC_MESSAGES instead of LANG.
- LC_MESSAGES should only affect "yes/no" words.
+ I noticed that firefox, openoffice and amule change the interface language accordingly to the value of $LANG instead of $LANGUAGE.
I don't know if this bug is caused by a common library.
Standard GTK apps work as expected.
