Hello, anyone can reproduce this error FF by this step:

0) Run your PC or virtual machine from Ubuntu 10.04 32 or 64 bit LIVE CD or Installed version.
1) Login into http://ubuntuforums.org
2) Try download this file  from this post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=8707510&postcount=6
3) You can see the same error as I, I attach Screenshot.png.

You may open /tmp in FF to read this file.

This bug is not only for PDF files, Please search problem because it's
not possible FF cannot open PDF/TXT files from webpage with Auth...
maybe is?.
