The bug you were experiencing before was most likely bug 410407 which
causes Flash to be unresponsive to clicks on 64-bit systems. Workaround
#3 on that report resolves the issue in case you ever decide to return
to the Flash from the Ubuntu repositories.

I believe Veoh uses Flash, so I'm not sure why Flash would work for you
on other sites but not Veoh. Do you recieve an error message when trying
to load a Veoh video?
