[Bug 576524] [NEW] [lucid] thunderbird does not know what to do with a *.wav file

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

The thunderbird-gnome-support is installed, but the default option for
an *.wav file attached to an email is only to download or cancel. It
does not even offer to select an application.

looking into the settings for attachements, thunderbird does not know
any multimedia files, be it sound or video.

Quite disappointing for a version3, and regression to earlier versions.
