So could you:

* Tell us how did you change them? With gnome-language-selector (i.e.
System > Administration > Language Support)?
* Give us the output of the 'locale' command on the terminal?

The language shown in menus should be the same used in the applications.
If it's not, this is probably a bug.

Recently gnome-language-selector gained the functionality to set a
locale for the language of the applications differently from other
regional settings (currency, date, etc.), and I'm just wondering if this
is related to that.
