SRU Verification Lucid:
I have verified that flashplugin-nonfree (10.1.53.64ubuntu0.10.04.3) in -proposed fixes the removal issue.
Marking as verification done.
Thanks.
** Description changed:
TEST CASE for 8.04 -> 10.04 SRU:
1. use hardy
2. install flashplugin-nonfree
3. run "update-manager --proposed" to upgrade to lucid
4. verify that it fails in flashplugin-nonfree
5. use fresh hardy ubuntu desktop but enable hardy-proposed this time
6. repeat 2,3
7. verify that it works now
Its not really needed to reproduce the failure (step 2,3,4) because of the amount of duplicates. I consider
this verification a success if 5,6,7 works ok.
+
+ TEST CASE 2: Removal of flashplugin-nonfree
+ $ apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
+ $ apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
