Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

Upgrading from Ubuntu 8.04 LTS to Ubuntu 10.4 LTS generated errors
regarding the lack of install scripts for the flash-plugin for Firefox.

I was sent to Launchpad from the error process. Note that the Launchpad
account creation is in my opinion flawed in requiring that you be able
to log into your email through the browser. Not all email accounts are
web enabled. Luckily for me and thus for you mine is.
