Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
Release: Lucid (10.04)
Expect: three folders (Personal, Location Indenpendence & Research) &
one additional site in my bookmarks toolbar. Navigation/Bookmark menu
shows folders as per normal.
Found: Two folders only (Personal & Location Independence) and
navigation/bookmarks menu as normal.
Yesterday, I was saving a lot of sites. I don't know at what stage I
realised I was missing a folder but after I realised I could not save to
the toolbar without getting an error. Today, I'm not getting the error.
Added a new site to the toolbar to test. It saves but I cannot move it
close to the folders.
If I attempt to right click Open All in Tabs it opens the one additional
site (TED), which cannot be seen. Incidentally, if I click close to but
not on the Random Facts site it will open.
After this, I checked Xmarks log and couldn't spot a problem. Attempted
a restore to yesterday morning (before the problems) and it hasn't
solved it. After the restore it synced the old with the new so I don't
think it did anything because I still have all the sites I saved
yesterday and now I can see the additional TED site on the toolbar, the
extra one I added to test (google random facts search) but still no
Ideas of what I can do?
Thanks in advance,
