  I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and running firefox 3.0.5. When I try to view
  videos on you tube or any other website with streaming video, I have no
  sound. I have sound with all other applications like dvds and music, but
  no sound on videos. My plugins are up to date, but I still can not
  figure it out.
