Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx. It now
defaults to Ubuntu 9.10 release notes,
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes/910 , instead of firefox
release notes. Since Lucid is still alpha2, I would expect the notes to
update before the final release. Ubuntu 9.04 defaults to Ubuntu 8.10
release notes.
