Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. I can
confirm this issue in Lucid using Firefox 3.6. I am attaching a
screenshot of the 'Edit -> Preferences -> Contents' tab, where the
preference to enable/disable java has been removed. Fortunately, you do
not have to remove the plugin, but can simply disable it from the menu
(Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins -> IcedTea NPR Web Browser Plugin). I
suspect we are bound by whatever Mozilla decides is best for firefox
here.
