Thank you for taking the time to report this issue upstream to Mozilla.
I have linked this bug with the one that you have found and I have
updated the title and description of this bug. Can you please confirm
for me that my description accurately describes your bug? If not, please
feel free to make any changes. Once the description has been set, I will
work on getting this bug fully triaged.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox

- For starters, Firefox 3.6 doesn't exist according to Launchpad, but it
- is in Synaptics. Tabbed browsing has an issue where switching between
- them becomes impossible after some time.
+ Issue: Firefox will not close while there are cookie dialogue boxes up
+ (which come from changing the cookie settings to "ask me every time").
+ Firefox also seems to slow down over prolonged use while this setting is
+ active.

- Also, websites stop loading after a time.
+ Firefox Versions Confirmed: 3.6, 3.7a1

- ProblemType: Bug
- Architecture: i386
- Date: Tue Feb 2 12:29:16 2010
+ Steps to reproduce:
+ 1. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Accept Cookies from Sites -> Accept Third-Party Cookies -> Keep Until: "Ask me Every Time"
+ 2. Open a website with third party cookies
+ 3. While a dialogue box is up, attempt to close Firefox
+
+ What happens: Firefox will not close unless the process is terminated.
+
+ What should happen: Firefox should close, along with the dialogue boxes,
+ without issue.
+
