Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Description:	Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Release:	10.04
thunderbird:
  Nainštalovaná verzia: 3.1.7+build3+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1
  Kandidát: 3.1.7+build3+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1
  Tabuľka verzií:
 *** 3.1.7+build3+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 0
        500 http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages
        500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     3.0.4+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages

Thunderbird should send a mail with attachments under paths with
localized characters (in this case "Slovak") after selecting the files
and the context menu "Send to.. " target "E-mail".

Instead of that I am receiving the error message:

Sending of message failed.
Unable to open the temporary file /home/user/Obr%C3%A1zky/Misc/picture.png. Check your 'Temporary Directory' setting.

I googled around and found a bug #402076 which is in status "Won't Fix"
due to no support of Thunderbird 3.0+ in LP(?). Is there a way how to
get this fix done? It is obviously still present in 3.1.7 (!)

** Affects: mozilla-thunderbird (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
