Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

Spell-check in Firefox text entry boxes always flags words that are
abbreviations with a period at the end, even when they're in the
dictionary. For example, "etc."

Also, the word "Firefox" is not included in the Firefox spell-check
dictionary.
