[Bug 619569] [NEW] some characters display as space or blank

Binary package hint: firefox

thunderbird also experiences this problem. Intermittently some
characters display as blank, or space. Rebooting clears the problem for
a while. Then I will start to miss all the "t"s or "r"s or other in
email messages and web pages.
