Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

Hi,
although it says this package installs succefully, the tar archive that it downloads during installation is not always succefully retrieved.

the problem is that it uses wget to retrieve the tar package. and unless
wget is specifically set to use http_proxy from /etc/wgetrc, the file is
not retrieved when a proxy server exists on the network. this is
irrespective of whether the global proxy and synaptic proxy settings
have been set.

suggested solution: pass an additional argument to wget to use the
currently set proxy when retrieving the file.
