Allow me to address this. The papercuts project is designed to fix bugs
that don't require a lot of work but potentially affect a lot of users.
This bug does affect a lot of users, but does not have an easy fix.
However, this only means it is not suitable to be worked on through the
papercuts project, and not that it won't get fixed at all. In fact, the
vast majority of bugs (all besides 100 each release) get fixed outside
of the papercuts project, so this bug still has a good chance of getting
fixed soon.
