I don't think it "always" crashes as JosephB says. At least not here. I
was browsing "There I fixed it" or something like that. (Maybe it
crashed the moment I clicked away from the homepage of "failblog.org"
after playing one embedded video. )

I'm thinking I might have seen firefox hang and/or crash on i386 in
similar cases. However it seems this happens more often on amd64 than I
see the hangs on i386...

At least this isn't fatal to firefox, so it feels better.....
