I'm affecting this report to firefox regarding your description.

There was also an error with adzapper during the latest upgrade:
Setting up adzapper (20090301-1) ...
restart: Job failed to restart
invoke-rc.d: initscript squid, action "restart" failed.
dpkg: error processing adzapper (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Setting up anon-proxy (00.05.38+20081230-1.1) ...

But I don't think this can make firefox crash.
